Sell by date vs use by date....

In my world the sell by date = the use by date... plain and simple.  I don't go by that the item is still good 5 days after said date.  It is bad come midnight on said date no ifs, ans or buts.  It is BAD!  This rule was set in stone in my mind when growing up all the food in our fridge would be bad.  It's just my mom - she doesn't toss stuff until it's W A Y past the date.  And yeah there have been some McNasty things in that fridge. 

So I have these school bus cookies that we bought at back to school time they came with 2 box tops - dude that is big time.  So I think hey I need to make those cookies this week - what a good afternoon treat on Friday.  Nope not gonna happen they go bad today 9/21/11 - so what am I doing right now - backing a whole bunch of school bus cookies that Tater & Lolly can have after school today.  But I promise you one thing come bedtime tonight those cookies will be going in the trash because they turn into trash come midnight tonight. 

Oh Pinterest - What a place to spend H O U R S & hours

I like most women in the US am on Pinterest - I love it.  I spend many an hour on there finding all sorts of goodies.  I have made a few things too.  Which is the point right. 
BUT
and I have to be honest here - dude if you pin something link it to where you found it not the just the picture.  Drives me nuts to find something super cute and then it's just the image really now I have to go to google and search it out - I'm lazy so yeah I don't google. I just whine to the dogs - why oh why only link to the photo.  Then also don't get me started on the websites that you really can't pin from - why block - I hate the no large images found here error - I get that a lot.  I'm not a fan of that error not at all.  Makes me twitchy. 

AND

label your pin with what the photo actual is I need a description just 'oh cute' doesn't cut it for me.  Yeah I can make my own opinions I wanna know what it is you don't have to get all wordy but just a few words plus when I decide at 4am to do some searching on Pinterest because the Lolly got up for the 5th time and my mind is running when I search I wanna be able to find your cute find.  If it is a photo of food tell me what it is so I don't have to click the links.  I wanna know I want quick easy information.  Yeah I'm a dork like that.

Tater's 8th Birthday Party

He wants Pokemon Black vs White- (boo hiss) I wanted Star Wars (again) hey I have great ideas.  But being the bigger person "I" didn't even try to talk him into Star War which I'd normally do he's such a good boy just goes where momma directs him.  Well this year I didn't put up a fight but OH MY GOSH there is nothing fun/cute Pokemon out there....

Party City - yeah yeah yeah the typical stuff. 

I sucked it up and bout all the invites plates & napkins from some place online that had the best prices.  But still I can't even bring myself to open the box that got here yesterday.  I need to grow up and get excited & well plan where we are going to have this all boys shin-dig. 

If you know of anything fun Pokemon or a great birthday place for an 8 year old let me know or we will be at Putt Putt again 3rd year in a row.

So I've decided to get into this blogging thing.  Why not everyone else is doing it right.  I can do this.

I like - no scratch that I LOVE to shop.

My name is Jeana - well really it's a nickname but I've always gone by it.  I don't know anything else.  So yeah I have a name - I'm a wife.  A mom.  I'm a dog owner.  And an employee. 

I have 2 kids: a boy - Tater Tot - Tater for short (7) and a girl - Lollypop she goes by Lolly (4).  2 dogs: a pug - Press who is 4 million years old he's deaf & going blind but is 100% healthy to the demise of my dear sweet husband and then we have an American Bulldog - Stella who is 5. 

I am addicted to JBF - Just Between Kids a children's resale www.jbfsale.com I work the Midcities/Grapevine sale.  Love it get great deals & make TONS of money.  The sale is next week so that is my life for the next week and a half.  So I will share all my hints and tips on reselling kids clothes this week.  My goal each sale is to make at least $500 the last sale I made $958.  YEA.
